story time!

I forgot to post this the other night, and I’ve been kinda busy the past couple of days, but for anyone who’s interested in what went on at D&D on Wednesday, this is it.

We entered a barn filled with 3 hillbilly ogres, one of which was named Sugar apparently, and they were killed before everyone even got a chance to attack. I woodshaped a hole in one of the boarded up doors within the barn, and we went in and found a giant spider guarding three men chained to a wall. Killed the spider and rescued the guys (one of which was the bear from last weeks master).
We then went into the house, there were two entrances so we split into two groups. Group one consisted of our two clerics, magus, and ranger (his animal companion wouldn’t fit inside) , and group two was our barbarian, his fighter cohort, myself, and my wolf.

Group one went in the main door, located traps and the ranger tried to disarm them. Unfortunately he doesn’t have many ranks in disable device and rolled very low, managing to set all the traps off on the group. After that they entered the house and almost fell into a pit trap near the couch, but fortunately avoided it (there were spikes at the bottom).

Meanwhile group two entered through the side door and we found ourselves in a sort of butchery, complete with human body parts everywhere. Everyone was fine except the druid (me) who ended up throwing up in a corner for 5 minutes. The half-orc barb was even eating some of the meat… I would have objected to that, but the vomiting was a problem for my character..

Group one explored the hallways a bit, managed to find the bathroom (complete with baby, female ogre bones, since apparently mama ogre doesn’t like competition) They went into a large room the same time my group did, after I had recovered from the vomiting incident and set a trap above the basement stairs so nothing could sneak up on us). There are buttons by the doors to the room that we’re not quite sure what they do other than make a clicking noise yet.

There was a room down the hall that group one forgot to check so we went to check it out. And it turns out that was mam ogres room. After a rather long battle, which included a fire pillar with made a hole in the ceiling, and temporarily rendered a couple group members unable to move, we finished for the night.
